Thorpeness Wedding

I have an ongoing love affair with this lovely little Suffolk coastal village. Thorpeness is such a quirky, idyllic little place and in my view a dream of a place to get married. A Thorpeness wedding really is one of my all time favourite ones to photograph. So many lovely backdrops and so many options for all the weathers.

There’s a couple of options for a legal ceremony, you have Thorpeness Country Club (more of a full venue for a larger guest list) or Thorpeness Golf Club which is great for a smaller wedding.

The advantage of getting married by the sea, means you not only have a lovely spot to hang out with your friends and family before and after the wedding but you also get lots of options for accommodation for all your guests.

This particular wedding was in spring. They hired a house on the lake which they had everyone stay at for the whole weekend. It was such a relaxed, fun day and they just walked up to the ceremony at the golf course and then back to The Dolphin for food and a relaxed evening after.
