photography to capture
the heart of your story
ESSEX WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, I’m so glad you’ve found me. I’m Jess and I absolutely love photographing weddings.
We will probably be a good fit if you’re drawn to genuine moments and connections. You cringe at awkward poses and you’d hate your wedding to feel like a photoshoot. You really want a photographer who makes everyone feel relaxed, someone who cares about your day and fits right in, capturing everything as it naturally unfolds in a beautiful way.
I’ve been photographing weddings for over 7 years now and I love it as much now as I did in the beginning. Weddings are all about joy and emotion and it’s such a privilege to get to capture these stories. Each and every wedding stays in my heart and I pour all I’ve got into telling your story in the best way I can.
Hi, I’m Jess!
I’m an Essex wedding photographer who travels all over the UK to capture beautiful souls getting married. I love being outside in the wild. My happy place is up a mountain or swimming in the ocean although dancing at festivals is a pretty close second. I’ve travelled all over the world, sometimes with my kids in tow and now I’m living in a bungalow, growing vegetables and embracing my grey hair… a bit like your gran… but probably not as cool.
**down to earth, genuine & relaxed **
Whether you’re having an intimate wedding at the Old Parish Rooms, or a laid-back party at Browning Brothers, a quirky day at Hedingham Castle or maybe a bespoke marquee wedding on the Essex Coastline? I’ve photographed loads of unique, alternative weddings, all over Essex but one thing that unites them all is that they’ve all felt genuine to each couple.
And that’s what I love to capture, weddings that reflect the two of you. Personal weddings with real emotion and a relaxed attitude. I love getting to know my couples, finding out what’s important to them and being involved in the run up to the day. And on the day there won’t be awkward photos or hours of posing. I’m really about capturing the natural stories as they unfold. The real magic comes from the imperfect moments, the laughter, the tears, the unplanned and the unpredictable.
