Suffolk Pagan Wedding
Immerse yourself in this lovely Suffolk Pagan wedding. If I had to align myself with any sort of philosophy it would probably be paganism. Non-religious and living as part of nature is very much how I live my life. I like to be in tune with the seasons and the moon and feel that as a society we’ve definitely lost that part of us to our detriment! Anyway, whenever I get to do a pagan wedding, whether that is fully pagan or incorporating pagan elements, I’m always very excited. I love to see nature incorporated into weddings and feel very lucky that most of my couples feel the same too.
This Suffolk pagan wedding was held at Wood Farm Barn in Benacre, Suffolk. One of my favourite places in the country, I love this area and this laid back rural venue is always fun to revisit.
Kathie and Mark had their ceremony in the woods. It was a 2-part affair with the celebrant part happening first then onto their friend who led the pagan part. Everyone drunk a herbal tea that Kathie had prepared for the day and they finished with a handfasting before heading off to the barn.
Then it was time to celebrate outside in the Suffolk sunshine. They feasted outside and then partied inside once the sun had set with an fun bake-off competition that meant tonnes of cake to keep everyone going into the night!
