Meadow Wedding in Sudbury, Suffolk
This countryside wedding in Sudbury, Suffolk was so idyllic. Everything was within walking distance, with the bride getting ready at her family home, just round the corner from the little country church, where they had their ceremony, and then a short walk up a countryside path was the reception in a wildflower meadow. It was wonderful how these two embraced their love for nature and brought it into the whole day. There were birch trees in the marquee and they’d even hand planted wildflower bulbs, throughout the existing meadow. It felt so personal to them. A lot of the family and friends had helped out, I loved seeing the bridesmaids and the brides family all involved in making the bouquets in the morning and the bride had even had some jewelry designed for her bridesmaids as a thank you gift. It was really touching to see so much love for this couple and they were such great fun. The dance-offs were some of the best I’ve seen too, and that’s saying something! Anyway, here’s a peek at their day. You can find a list suppliers at the end of this post.
Here’s what Lucy had to say about their photos: “Beautiful photography. Jess has a great eye, and a talent for catching fleeting moments wonderfully. The creativity and care which goes in to Jess’s work is phenomenal, she has managed to describe the narrative of our wedding day so beautifully through the photos, they will be treasured. She was also very discreet on the day, and a pleasure to have around throughout the days events. Little personal extras and favours such as photographing us planting bulbs in our meadow (venue) were just so thoughtful and really lovely. George and I couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you Jess!!” Dress: Shanna Melville Make-up: Rebecca Blake Flowers: Own Music: The Kings Parade Food: Catering for Suffolk Cake: Ashleigh Brown Marquee: County Marquees
