The Crown Stoke by Nayland Tipi Wedding

A small, relaxed wedding in this beautiful setting and ending up with delicious food in the tipi at one of my favourite pubs, The Crown in Stoke by Nayland.

Adi and Mark really didn’t want to have a large day with loads of attention on them so they opted for a smaller, informal affair with just their closest friends and family.

The ceremony was at Wiston Church in Wissington. This is a ridiculously lovely church, surrounded by wildflowers in a dreamy setting. The church is also where Mark’s grandma is buried so it was super personal to them. They even had his godfather doing the sermon on the day.

As the church is so picturesque. We did all their photos in the church yard. You’re absolutely spoilt for choice here for backdrops.

Then we headed back to The Crown. They have a permanent tipi set up here for events which is ideal for smaller weddings. It’s a lovely space inside and surprisingly warm with plenty of heaters! There’s lots of furs and blankets dotted around too. Outside there is also a large field to the back with great views of the fields so it makes an ideal spot for a relaxed, countryside wedding. The food here is fantastic too.

As a Suffolk wedding photographer, these local weddings are an absolute dream for me. It really helps knowing the area too as the directions to the church were way off and everyone got lost as there was no phone signal. Luckily I know the area well and ignored all my phone’s directions!!
