Woodhall Manor
Set in one of my favourite parts of the country, this is a magical wedding venue. The Suffolk countryside round Woodhall Manor is beautiful, the coast is a few minutes away and there are loads of unspoilt woodlands and heaths to explore. The quaint town of Woodbridge is a few minutes away too so you are really are spoilt for choice when it comes to location.
Here’s a gallery of a wedding I photographed here and underneath I’ve included all the information you need to know about the venue and my own personal review!
Narni and Luke chose Woodhall Manor as they really love the outdoors and wanted somewhere where they could have an outdoor ceremony as well as lots of time in the gardens. It was a gorgeous October day and despite a close call with the weather they managed to get married in the walled garden, which was super special. Here’s some of the photos from their day.
Overview of the venue
Full of history, the Elizabethan Manor house has all the classic vibes whilst the venue itself brings a contemporary edge with it’s own dedicated bar and dancefloor and a beautiful, light dining area. It really does tick all the boxes for a venue that does it all. You have onsite accomodation, lots of different spaces to use throughout your stay, including a pool table and juke box! Fabulous gardens and grounds and a seperate dedicated area to hold your reception in or indoor ceremony. There is lots of different ways to make this space your own and I love that there’s no awkward room change after dinner as you just move straight to the bar which has an instant party feel!
The ceremony spaces
I love that you have a choice of places to hold your ceremony, from outdoors in the walled garden to the ballroom or the manor house or even in a seperate room joining onto the walled garden.
Wedding Food
There is an amazing team of caterers here but you can also hire the venue as dry hire and use your own suppliers. I love that they give you this flexibility.

The Team
The staff here are so lovely and really do make a huge difference to your day, they are so easy going yet efficient at the same time. I was super impressed in how they dealt with on the day changes at the wedding I photographed there.
