Snape Maltings Small Suffolk Wedding
Snape Maltings is one of those unique places that I’ve loved for a long time. It’s such a beautiful place on the Suffolk Coast, it’s unlike anywhere I’ve ever been before and I think that’s why it’s help such a special place in my heart. It was wonderful to do an actual wedding here.
Rebecca and Patrick had to change their original wedding plans due to covid but decided to go ahead at this venue with a micro wedding instead. It was a cold and blustery day but there were so many lovely indoor spots to go that it didn’t make a jot of difference. Infact I love how happy these two look when they had their soggy photos taken!!
Snape Maltings Wedding Venue
Snape Maltings – IP717 1SP – makes such a great wedding venue. There’s lots of choices for accomodation for you and your guests, so everyone can be in one place or near by. Aldeburgh is just down the road and, as I mentioned, the countryside is wonderful. You can even take a canoe up the river! How perfect!
The ceremony happens in the famous concert hall, which gives a real feeling of grandeur is definitely a wedding venue to remember! And the staff are absolutely lovely too. Obviously this day was a little different to normal due to Covid rules but there are so many great options at this Suffolk venue. These two actually did a little house trail as it was Halloween and it meant they could visit all their family who were staying there. How crazy were those pandemic rules?! Then they finished the night with a lovely evening supper in the main house.
