Haughley Park Barn
I’ve photographed a few weddings at Haughley Park Barn now, so I want to create this helpful guide for anyone thinking of having there wedding there.
Haughley Park is beautiful, you drive past ancient trees and through a large section of open parkland before arriving at the barn. There is accommodation for you to use before and after your wedding in the old farmhouse. This sleeps around 10 people and has a large kitchen and lounge and dining area. It’s a few metres from the barn so it makes everything super easy on the day.
The Barn
The barn itself is a classic barn venue with beams and a large main area. However there are separate areas for the ceremony and the dining areas which makes things so much simpler on the day as there is no need for spaces to be changed around. You can just get everything set up and then relax and enjoy the day.
The Gardens
A major plus is the beautiful outside areas. There’s a lawn and pond outside the front of the barn and you also have access to the gardens in front of the manor house for photos. They are really beautiful and make for wonderful photos. The parkland is also great for dreamy sunsets!

My review of Haughley Park
This is one of my favourite local venues. I love the setting, driving in through the parkland makes it feel really special. Everything has been well thought out. Having the farmhouse there to use means that you don’t have to stress about getting to the venue on the wedding morning and it also fits a decent amount of people for family and friends which is always a bonus. I think the fact that you don’t have to wrangle all the room changes is a real asset too. Having the separate ceremony space is great and it’s somewhere you could make look great all year round. However I think the grounds and gardens are particularly amazing in summer and spring.
