photography to capture
the heart of your story
Your authentic
ESSEX WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Weddings are one of the only opportunities you have to gather your favourite people and celebrate the most important thing of all…love.
It is a special sort of magic on a wedding day, the emotions, the quiet glances, the relationships, the laughter, the tears and the joy.
I love being able to capture that in a genuine way; no need for awkward posing or staged moments. I want to gather up the real feelings of the day and add my artistic vision. Capturing the soul of your wedding, so you can relive your day for years to come.
My style is often described as whimsical and poetic. It is firmly routed in documentary but with a leaning towards fine art and cinematic.
Hi, I’m Jess!
I’m an Essex wedding photographer who travels all over the UK to capture beautiful souls getting married. I love being outside in the wild. My happy place is up a mountain or swimming in the ocean although dancing at festivals is a pretty close second. I’ve travelled all over the world, sometimes with my kids in tow and now I’m living in the countryside, growing vegetables and embracing slow living.

ESSEX WEDDINGS
Whether you’re having an intimate wedding at the Old Parish Rooms, or a laid-back party at Browning Brothers, a quirky day at Hedingham Castle or maybe a bespoke marquee wedding on the Essex Coastline? I’ve photographed loads of unique, alternative weddings, all over Essex but one thing that unites them all is that they’ve all felt genuine to each couple.
And that’s what I love to capture, weddings that reflect the two of you. Personal weddings with real emotion and a relaxed attitude. I love getting to know my couples, finding out what’s important to them and being involved in the run up to the day. And on the day there won’t be awkward photos or hours of posing. I’m really about capturing the natural stories as they unfold. The real magic comes from the imperfect moments, the laughter, the tears, the unplanned and the unpredictable.
